A Japanese healing technique for relaxation and stress reduction. Rei (meaning Universal Life) -- Ki (meaning Energy). Reiki is administered by the practitioner laying their hands and allowing the life force energy to flow through their hands to the client for healing and well being. When our life force energy is low or out of balance, we are more likely to be stressed and become sick. The healing energy of Reiki restores our wellbeing and brings us to a more harmonious balance. Reiki is a spiritual healing art that heals on physical, mental and emotional levels and is not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice.
